Grand Finals - Results and pics
Final results sheet and photographs of presentations by Glen Halsey, King’s Hill General Manager.
King’s Hill could not have done more to make the day run better. Volunteer members acted as starters and spotters and to check the cards as players finished. The weather was exceptional and the course and catering attracted most favourable comments. Our appreciation has been conveyed to all concerned, but most especially to the David Lake who worked so hard to organise the day and ensure its smooth accomplishment.
Scoring was generally most impressive and the winning score of 193 was only 15 points ahead of the 6th-placed club. Woodlands Bill Hutson and Peter Cope and Bearsted’s Malcolm Bristow & Rod Holobrook achieved the best pair scores of 43 points and Len Kellaway of Weald and John Western of Bearsted were nearest the pin in two on the 7th and 15th holes respectively. Many thanks to all who took part.
Regards, John

Grand Final Arrangements
I am pleased now to attach the start sheet for the Grand Final on 10 October together with a repeat copy of the arrangements for the day. Would captains please keep me updated as soon as they become aware of any changes of personnel or of their handicaps. A reminder please to eat from the rolling buffet as soon as you are ready, in the fours in which you play. Good luck to all, John Crates
